The registration age groups defined by basketballscotland are:

   Senior     Born before 1^st Jan 1992 (over 18)

   Junior      Born after 1^st Jan 1992 and before 1^st Jan 1994 (under 18)

   Cadet(te) Born after 1^st Jan 1994 and before 1^st Jan 1996 (under 16)

   Under14   Born after 1^st Jan 1996

The parents or guardians of registered players under the age of 18 are considered as voting members of The Club with no additional fee.

Players from younger age groups may be considered by the coaching staff for the opportunity to ‘play up’ into an older age group.

 

 

It should be noted that the interests of players under the age of 14 are likely to be best served by their schools, local community centres and other organisations oriented to that age group.

 

The Club’s limited resources and current availability of central training venues do not enable us to offer facilities dedicated to this age group.
